I’ve had the privilege of being a Diva Charity Inc. Ambassador for over 10 incredible years. After living and working in Bali from 2004 to 2012, I returned to the Western world with a deep desire to continue giving back to the island that had become like home to me.
Christina, the Diva Charity Founder, and I have been close friends since 2007, and once I settled in Perth, Western Australia, I saw a real opportunity. Many Bali-loving Divas were eager to help, but they weren’t sure how to ensure their donations would make a genuine impact. That’s when Diva Charity Perth was born.
Through five highly successful luncheon events held in some of Perth’s most glamorous venues, we’ve raised both awareness and funds for vital causes. One of our proudest achievements was supporting YPAC (Yayasan Pembangunan Anak Cacat) to improve their facilities for children with physical and mental disabilities, including funding a new roof and installing safe fire escapes, along with providing fire extinguishers.
Our very first event, in support of the Bali Children Foundation, was an overwhelming success, setting the stage for many more meaningful efforts to come.
I look forward to many more events and raising awareness of the causes in need.
