Mel is a leading Australian TV presenter who starred in her first TV show at 15. Since then there has been no stopping her, from hosting shows for the Australian market from the US, UAE, Japan, Singapore, Afghanistan, and countless destinations worldwide.
Mel presents both Sydney Weekender and its sister show Weekender TV in Queensland and has a terrific relationship with viewers across the country through 30 years of hosting Network 7 and 10 programs.
With two decades of travel television already under her belt, Mel is an expert ambassador for tourism destinations and luxury brands such as Elements of Byron and Mercedes-Benz.
A much-loved children’s television host on iconic programs Totally Wild and Saturday Disney during the height of their popularity, Aussies have grown up with Mel in their living rooms.
Mel is the mother of a beautiful eight-year-old girl named Alexandra and when she isn’t on the move for work or play, she can usually be found at her place in Byron Bay where for fifteen years she has had success interior styling and doing small renovations for profit.
Mel presented Logie nominated show Ground Force and Australia’s Best Backyards for 7 and is a qualified Interior Decorator with substantial experience in real estate”.
