Our Story
Diva Charity Incorporated began with a simple yet powerful idea: that no one in our community should go hungry while good food is being wasted. We started in 2008 as a small grassroots effort to rescue surplus food and redistribute it to those in need. We quickly grew into a dedicated community network of volunteers and supporters. Founder Christina Iskandar saw firsthand the growing need within local communities. Families were struggling, individuals were experiencing homelessness, and many people were facing hardship quietly without knowing where to turn for help. Through compassion, consistency, and strong partnerships, Diva Charity has become a trusted organisation supporting vulnerable members of the community while also reducing food waste. At its heart, Diva Charity is about people, showing kindness, offering dignity, and reminding others that they are not alone.

We strive to foster compassion and connection by understanding and alleviating feelings of loneliness and social isolation.
